If this voyage were a book, Adventure in the Algarve would be its title. And you'd be the main character.

After an al fresco lunch of charcoal-grilled sardines, play golf at the amazing course at Oceanico during your late stay in Portimão, Portugal. From Cadiz, in Spain, you'll have time to explore Seville, whose cathedral is the largest Gothic building in the world. The Alcázar there could take the whole day. But you've got time, we're here late, too.

Try not to miss the El Arenal area with the Maestranza bullring, and intriguing taverns with the purest flamenco in all of Andalusia. We spend a late night at the Rock of Gibraltar so you'll get to know it as more than a rock. It's also a town, a port, a strait, and home to monkeys without tails.

In Valencia, Spain, the ship stays overnight, so here's a plan: dinner is a given as paella was invented here. Rent a bike at the Torres de Serranos gate and ride to the spectacular City of Arts and Sciences museum complex - it's amazing. For history buffs, there's the museum L'Almoina, where you walk over glass floors, looking down at ruins. And for late night: the club near the Príncipe Felipe Science Museum was described by The New York Times as "Studio 54 meets imperial Spain meets the Jersey Shore." Who could resist that?

Then it's on to Barcelona for an overnight there as well, although with all there is to see and do in this exciting city, you may want to stay an extra day before heading home. Thus concludes this Iberian story.

Our partnership with PerryGolf™ delivers incredible golf experiences during your voyage which includes five rounds. We begin in the Algarve with The Oceânico Faldo Course which is already considered the 6th best in Portugal even though it only opened in 2008. Next you'll play Valderrama, a championship course by Robert Trent Jones which hosted the 1997 Ryder Cup and is a fixture among the world's top 100. In Malaga we play Finca Cortesin, Spain's 5th ranked club and previous host on three occasions to the prestigious Volvo World Match Play Championship. El Saler is a Spanish classic found on the outskirts of Valencia. Opened in 1968 it was promptly ranked as continental Europe's #1 club with magnificent routing that intersperses seaside holes with forest holes. Finally, we play Real Club de Golf El Prat near Barcelona. This was the first course in continental Europe designed by Greg Norman who is known for designing courses that look as though they have been part of the landscape for generations.

PerryGolf's cruise staff will be onboard and ashore to oversee all aspects of your golf experience from daily pairings to the handling of your golf clubs.
